The Paradisium Mission:
"To Support Suicide Loss Survivors & Chosen Charities"
Bringing Together
Suicide Loss Survivors
....taking one day at a time, moment by moment
  • Pain: We know only too well, the pain we have to carry with us the moment our loved ones end their pain and suffering.
  • Grief: All grief is different and suicide grief takes on another level.  It's complicated. Only those grieiving loss to suicide can fully understand.  Sometimes we don't even have to say anything; we just know.
  • Isolation: When those around you don't understand, or there is no one at all to reach out to, then a community like this is crucial for your own wellbeing.
  • Suicide: We think it's important to talk about suicide and to get a better understanding of what suicide is, and what it is not.  For example, the phrase "committed suicide" is no longer used as suicide is not a crime.
  • Compassion:  We are all grieving in our own way and so we can show compassion to others by just being there, listening and reaching out.  There's zero judgement here.  We care and support one another, no matter what stage of your grief journey.

"Paradisium" literally translates to: "into Paradise"
(may you be welcomed into Paradise by the angels)

This is 'The Paradisium Tree of Hope & Healing'
offering anyone affected by suicide to find ways to heal.

When my brother died by suicide in 2020, he changed his online profile picture that day to "Escape To Paradise".

We use this to give us comfort knowing he is now in a place of paradise.

"Paradisium" was born out of a conversation between a school friend of my brother's (Claire) and myself at the start of 2021 when we spoke about setting up an online choir during lockdown.

With different 'branches' of The Paradisium Tree, you can choose what feels right for YOU, to help you navigate your own grief journey, your healing journey or, to just give you hope.

Think of Paradisium as your Safe Place
To Make New Friends
To Express Your Emotions
To Feel Comfortable Navigating Your Own Grief Journey

" Your wings were ready,
but our hearts were not"

RIP My Brother

Why I'm Sharing My Story & Helping Others...

Losing My Only Sibling To Suicide
Why Am I Doing This?
Losing my only sibling to suicide has changed me, my family, and my life forever.  I've been vocal throughout my entire grief journey, as it's my way of dealing with it.  I've found my voice and I'm using it (for a change!).  My pain is moving into a purpose.  My mission is to make suicide loss and grief openly acceptable and easier to talk about, and, to help those with suicidal ideations to stay and find ways to live, better.  I can't do this by myself and this is why I've created this community.
Together we are stronger.  Together we will make a difference.

Your Grief Is As Unique
As Your Love For Them
We all grieve differently and yet we can often only feel connected and understood by those who have also lost loved ones to suicide.

It's the club that no-one wants to join, and yet, here we are. Members for the rest of our lives.

We are finding our way.  Some days are harder, some days are easier, some days are somewhere in between.  And that's okay.

This is why I've put my heart and soul into 'Paradisium'.  I couldn't help my brother but if I can help just one other person, then I feel I have made a difference.

Matthew Quit... Mike Didn't

Where is Mike now (8 months later...) and where is his buddy? Watch this short video to find out the true story about what happened....

Have you been thinking about the "Inner Circle"? Maybe it's time to stop thinking and be like Mike... just start MOVING...
If you'd like to be where Mike is in the next 8 months - you better
